I’m often busy photographing other people’s horses and dogs, so when I get the chance to sneak in sessions of my own boys I always take advantage! Last year I had the chance to travel up to Northern California with Dallas and we made some frequent stops for portraits along the way.

This sweet boy Captain belonged to a dear friend of mine and I had the opportunity to work with him in preparation for building the canine portion of my website. It wasn’t long after this shoot that this boy would no longer be with us. Now his owner and everyone who loved him can cherish these sweet memories forever.
